Overview
We are seeking a motivated Van Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service and timely deliveries. This position offers an energetic work environment where your driving skills and professionalism will make a direct impact.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a van to deliver Items nationwode
- Load and unload cargo, including heavy lifting when necessary, with attention to safety protocols
- Verify delivery details and obtain signatures or proof of delivery from recipients
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every shift
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with commercial driving experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics and handling goods efficiently
- Knowledge of local traffic laws, navigation skills, and route planning capabilities
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment
