Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HOTEL Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our Hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of all plant and equipment and implementing maintenance strategies that minimise downtime. This role requires strong management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects effectively. The Maintenance Manager will play a vital role in maintaining safety standards, improving operational efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes in the hotel to reduce equipment failure and optimise operational uptime.
- Oversee repair activities for mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Manage projects related to equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment history for reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements through analysis of maintenance data and industry best practices.
- Manage budgets related to maintenance operations, including procurement of parts and services.
Requirements
- Proven management experience within a maintenance environment, ideally in hotel settings.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience is essential for troubleshooting complex issues.
The successful candidate will have hotel experience and be instrumental in driving efficiency improvements while maintaining high safety standards across all facilities.
Pay: £33,664.09-£44,023.18 per year
