We are seeking Patient Coordinator's to join our fabulous, hard-working, and supportive reception teams at Sutton Coldfield Group Practice. We have 2 part time opportunities, which are floating roles and these will cover all six of our sites in Sutton Coldfield. Flexibility is a key factor with these two roles, as you will be expected to travel between our sites as required. We need passionate and proactive people who thrive in the variety and pace of a busy general practice.
The purpose of the role is to perform a high-quality reception and administration service to ensure patient satisfaction, providing excellent service and maximum contribution to practice efficiency and effectiveness in line with practice policies. Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with all members of the SCGP team and our patients is fundamental.
We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic individuals, who have strong receptionist or administration experience - along with the following requirements:
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Previous experience in a NHS setting would be an advantage
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- The ability to use and operate a computer-based system.
- Knowledge of working with SystmOne would be advantageous.
- Be willing to learn and progress.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
- Excellent attention to detail and use initiative.
- A well-presented and motivated individual who enjoys working independently and within a great team.

If upon you joining SCGP, you are currently a patient at one of the SCGP practices, you will be asked to transfer to a different practice. During your probation, unless there is no other alternative available for you, you will be expected to transfer to another practice to ensure that you are not treated by a colleague.

Hours: The roles below require flexibility: Monday to Friday - 07:30am and 18:30pm (floating role)
Role 1 : 25 hours per week - Monday to Friday 0730 - 1230
Role 2: 30 hours per week - Monday to Friday 1230 - 1830
