We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Care Manager to lead our residential care home and take responsibility for the overall quality, safety and effectiveness of the care we provide.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced care professional who wants to make a genuine difference and be part of a team that is committed to providing outstanding, person-centred care.
About the Role
As Registered Care Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and high-quality care.
You will work closely with the care team and lead by example. This will include spending time on the floor, supporting staff with care when appropriate, observing practice and identifying opportunities to improve the experience and outcomes of our residents.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing strong, visible leadership across the home
- Working alongside the care team to strengthen and maintain high standards of care
- Ensuring residents receive safe, dignified and person-centred support
- Building positive relationships with residents, relatives and staff
- Leading, supporting and developing the care team

- Promoting residents' independence, choice, dignity and wellbeing
- Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed effectively
- Managing incidents, complaints and concerns professionally
- Working closely with healthcare professionals, families and external agencies
- Recruiting, inducting, supervising and developing staff
- Monitoring staff performance and supporting a positive team culture
- Ensuring appropriate staffing levels and effective shift organisation
- Maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and best practice
- Preparing for and responding to inspections and regulatory requirements
- Driving continuous improvement throughout the home
We Want a Manager Who Leads by Example
The successful candidate will be someone who is comfortable getting involved.
We would like a hands on Manager who knows the residents, understands the challenges faced by the care team and is willing to work alongside staff when needed.
You will have the opportunity to identify where the team needs additional support, provide coaching and guidance and help build confidence and consistency across the home.
Your presence should make a difference — to residents, to staff and to the overall quality of care.

- A hands-on, approachable and supportive management style
- Good knowledge of care documentation, risk management and regulatory requirements
