CareSpaces is seeking a driven, organised and hands-on Project Manager to lead the delivery of rapid-turnaround projects across community properties and public realm environments. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives under pressure, can manage multiple live projects simultaneously, and enjoys turning around high-impact spaces quickly and efficiently.
You will oversee projects from planning through to delivery, coordinating contractors, stakeholders, suppliers and site teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple fast-moving refurbishment, improvement and activation projects across community and public spaces
- Coordinate day-to-day project delivery both from the office and on-site
- Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and reporting
- Appoint and oversee contractors, consultants and suppliers
- Ensure works are delivered safely and in compliance with regulations and company standards
- Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings and quality checks
- Troubleshoot issues quickly and maintain momentum across live projects
- Liaise with local authorities, community stakeholders, residents and delivery partners
- Support procurement, scheduling and resource planning
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Drive projects through completion with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
Requirements
- PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification (required)
- Proven experience in project management within construction, refurbishment, property, fit-out or public realm projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident managing contractors and on-site operations
- Commercial awareness and budget management experience
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions quickly
- Comfortable working both in-office and on-site regularly
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Desirable
- Experience delivering community, regeneration or placemaking projects
- Knowledge of public realm works or local authority environments
- SMSTS, CSCS or relevant project/construction qualifications
- Experience working within live operational environments

Pay: £65,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
