We're looking for a Resident Liaison Officer to joint the team at IRS Construction for a new project commencing early August 2026 within Glasgow City Centre
About IRS Construction
IRS Construction is a specialist Principal Contractor delivering façade remediation, fire safety and external wall insulation programmes on Higher Risk Buildings across the UK. Our work supports residents, property owners and managing agents to make buildings safer - meeting the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Building Safety Regulator's gateway process.
We're a hands-on, team-led business with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and looking after the people who live in the buildings we work on. The office team is the engine behind every project — and this role sits right at the centre of it.
The Role
Based in Glasgow City Centre and reporting to the Project Manager, this is a varied, full-time role within the construction Industry.
What You’ll be doing
· knowledge of the construction industry
· Experience of working in social/ Residential housing
· Experience of working with tenants and leaseholders whose homes are undergoing major building works.
· Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
· Can create and maintain constructive working relationships
· Proficient in Microsoft word and Excel
· Ability work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
· Building trusting relationship with residents, ensuring they are proactively kept informed about all planned works
· Organising and arranging appointments, start dates & monitor access to individual properties.
· Carry out dilapidation surveys and document a record of existing property condition in mitigation of future claims.
· Explain the scope of works, deal with enquires, concerns and complaints the tenants may have, effectively resolving the issue.
· Report on risks, issues and key tasks daily, so that all parties understand any implications to avoid a delay in the programme.
· Participating in regular client/ Leaseholder meetings.
Conduct resident satisfaction surveys on completion.

· Hours: Monday to Friday
· Salary depending on experience
