About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking Plasterer to join our team on a part-time basis, with the opportunity for the right person to move into a full-time position.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' plastering experience, take pride in producing a high standard of finish, and have good time management skills. You will also need a good understanding of general building work and be confident working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing work areas ready for plastering
- Boarding walls and ceilings, including plasterboard installation
- Preparing surfaces and applying plaster to a high standard
- Patching, repairs and finishing work
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Completing work efficiently and within agreed timescales
- Carrying out general building tasks when required
- Working independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a plasterer
- Strong knowledge of plastering techniques and surface preparation
- Experience with plasterboard/boarding
- Good general building knowledge
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Excellent time management
- High attention to detail and pride in your work
- Able to work independently and use your own initiative
- Full UK driving licence preferred
