We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure that every room or public area consistently reflects the quality and standards we strive for. The ideal candidate will take pride in their everyday work and in managing their team's performance.
What you'll be doing
- Lead, train and motivate the housekeeping team to maintain exceptional standards
- Ensure all guest bedrooms are clean, organised and presented ahead of arrivals
- Monitor stock levels of all cleaning supplies, minimise waste and place orders where required
- Carry our regular room and public area inspections, ensuring quality standards are consistently maintained
- Promptly report any discovered maintenance issues
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote safe working practises within the department
- Respond professionally to housekeeping related enquiries and appropriate resolve any discrepancies
- Ensure lost property procedures are followed accurately
- Identify opportunities to improve housekeeping operations
Experience Requirements
- 3 years of previous experience in Housekeeping
- 2 year of previous experience in a supervisory role
- Is organised and able to prioritise workloads efficiently and effectively
- Is a confident leader who works to motivate and develop their team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is flexible and wiling to support the wider hotel team when needed
