Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and skilled Curry & Tandoor Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of traditional curry dishes and tandoor specialties, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Your leadership and culinary expertise will help elevate our menu and provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of curry dishes and tandoor items with precision and passion
- Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation
- Supervise kitchen staff in food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes and safety standards
- Manage food safety protocols, including proper storage, sanitation, and hygiene practices
- Lead team management efforts by mentoring junior chefs and coordinating daily kitchen operations
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high-quality standards
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to uphold excellent hospitality service and guest satisfaction
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong background in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities
- Extensive kitchen experience with a focus on Indian cuisine, including tandoor cooking methods
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in restaurant settings
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth operations
