The Role
We are seeking a Factory Cleaner who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout our production areas, offices, canteen, and welfare facilities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Sweep and wash floors using mops and brooms as required.
- Clean office areas, including desks, cupboards, work surfaces, and floors.
- Clean and maintain canteen and toilet facilities.
- Refill consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.
- Collect waste and empty bins throughout the site.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages to the appropriate person.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic working environment at all times.
Working Hours
This is a part-time, zero-hours contract position.
We are looking for someone who can work approximately 2-4 hours per day, 2 days per week. We are flexible and happy to agree the working days with the successful candidate to fit mutual availability.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
- Willingness to assist where required and contribute positively to the team.
The position is subject to a successful probationary period.
