Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and private homes. Duties
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring
- Support individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's through behaviour management and specialised care techniques
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
- Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
- Manage medical needs with adherence to care plans and protocols
- Respond promptly to emergencies using first aid skills when necessary
- Support families by providing updates on client condition and care routines
Requirements
- Prior experience in care giving in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care best practices
- Certification or training in first aid and medication administration preferred
- Ability to to use equipments when necessary for mobility assistance or transfers
- Valid driving licence for transportation duties
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in care delivery
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in caregiving roles
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed
