Service Coordinator, Commercial Catering Equipment Maintenance

CCS Catercare is a commercial catering equipment maintenance and repair company operating across London and the South East. We work with commercial kitchens, schools and multi-site operators to keep critical equipment running, combining planned maintenance with fast, reliable reactive repair.
We're looking for a Scheduler to join our Service Desk team and take ownership of engineer diaries across our field engineering workforce. This is a coordination role at the centre of the business, balancing planned PPM visits against reactive callouts, managing engineer availability, and making sure the right engineer reaches the right site with the right information.
What you'll be doing
- Planning and adjusting daily and weekly schedules for our field engineers, prioritising urgent reactive jobs alongside planned maintenance commitments
- Acting as the link between customers, engineers and the Service Desk, keeping everyone informed when plans change
- Monitoring job progress and engineer locations to spot delays early and reallocate work where needed
- Working closely with the Service Desk Manager and Customer Relationship Manager to protect service levels and contract SLAs
- Maintaining accurate records in our CRM and scheduling systems
- Supporting reporting on engineer utilisation and job turnaround times
What we're looking for
- Experience in a scheduling, dispatch or service coordination role, ideally in a field service, FM or trades environment
- Comfortable working at pace and reprioritising when urgent jobs come in
- Strong communicator, confident dealing with customers and engineers directly
- Organised, methodical, and calm under pressure
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or job management software an advantage
