Acorn Environmental is an Estate Maintenance Company based in Mitcham. We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Team Leader to join a mobile cleaning team. This is a hands-on role, and you will work alongside your team, helping to ensure a high standard of work is maintained across your sites.
We are looking for the right candidate to start as soon as possible.
This role would suit an experienced cleaner who is confident taking the lead when required.
Key responsibilities and requirements:
- Have a full clean driving licence and be comfortable driving daily
- Have previous experience in cleaning – experience in cleaning within housing association/council blocks/sheltered accommodation schemes desirable
- Some Cleaning Team Leader experience
- Be a team player
- Be willing to learn
- Be flexible, proactive and hardworking
- Have high standards, with excellent attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
Duties will include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, rotating bins, and toilet cleaning so you will need to be physically fit for this role. You will also be responsible for ordering stock, and uploading pictures of completed work, reporting to the Operations Director at the end of each day with any issues.
42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Starting at 6.30am. 4 weeks A/L entitlement excluding bank holidays. Enrolment onto the Nest pension scheme.
We are an established company and require hard working staff to join our team. Successful applicants will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS. Disclosure expense will be met by employer, but if you leave within 3 months this will have to be repaid.
