Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated A Level Physics Tutor to inspire and support students in mastering advanced physics concepts. Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored physics tutoring sessions focused on A Level curriculum content, including mechanics, electricity, waves, and quantum physics
- Assess students’ current understanding and identify areas for improvement to create customized learning plans
- Explain complex physics concepts using clear, accessible language and real-world examples to enhance comprehension
- Support students in developing effective study techniques, problem-solving skills, and exam strategies
- Track student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement
- Foster a positive learning environment that promotes curiosity, engagement, and confidence in physics
- Collaborate with parents or guardians when appropriate to communicate student progress and address specific learning needs
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching physics at the A Level or equivalent level
- Strong knowledge of physics principles and the ability to explain them clearly and effectively
- Experience working with children or young learners, demonstrating patience and adaptability
- Familiarity with special education needs (SEN) strategies to support diverse learning styles
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas simply and motivate students
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to individual student goals and learning paces
- A passion for science education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically
