Housekeeper required for Care Home
Our small and friendly home has a great reputation in the local area, and the staff take pride in providing a loving, comfortable and safe place for our residents to live.
As head of our committed Domestic team, you will lead, manage and supervise the domestic and laundry staff team to ensure the home achieves leading standards in a care service environment.
You will work 3 days from 7 on a rolling rota, and ensure that your staff team have all the necessary training to deliver our expected high standards
Your role is key in ensuring that we are able to maintain a safe and hygienic environment, where our residents are well cared for,
- You will ensure the provision of a high standard of hospitality, cleaning and laundry within the home by maintaining an efficient, cost effective, clean hygienic working environment.
- You will maintain standards as required in adherence to the Company’s policies and procedures
- You will prepare and maintain a 4 week Rota, ensuring the domestic and laundry teams are adequately staffed at all times.
- And you will instruct the domestic team in their role and required duties / allocation within the home, leading by example

Pay: £13.45 per hour
Experience:
- housekeeping: 2 years (preferred)
- Health and Safety : 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- COSHH training (preferred)
