Are you a skilled Heating Engineer looking to join a friendly, well-established company?
Inafix Ltd, based in Shaftesbury, specialises in renewable energy solutions including heat pumps and air conditioning, alongside a full range of plumbing installations. We also provide expert servicing, repairs, and maintenance for a wide variety of heating systems.
This is a varied installation-based role, working across renewable and traditional heating systems. You will have the opportunity to work on air source heat pumps, oil boilers, hot water cylinders, radiators, underfloor heating and associated plumbing and heating systems, with training provided to develop your skills in renewable technologies.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
- Strong problem-solving skills and good customer communication
- Ability to learn on the job
Key Responsibilities will include (training can be given)
- Install, service and maintain heating systems, including air source heat pumps, air conditioning, oil boilers, hot water cylinders and radiators
- Carry out first and second fix plumbing and heating installations, including running and connecting pipework
- Install and connect underfloor heating systems, heating controls, cylinders and associated components
- Complete heating and plumbing installations to a high standard and in accordance with current regulations and industry standards
- Carry out system testing, fault finding, flushing and commissioning to ensure systems are operating correctly and efficiently
- Work from plans and installation specifications, ensuring all work is completed accurately and safely
- Liaise professionally with customers, explaining the work being carried out and providing clear advice where required
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and within agreed timescales
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment on all sites
- Complete required installation paperwork and job records accurately
- Keep up to date with industry developments, renewable heating technologies and relevant regulations, with training provided where required
