Imagine being the person who opens the door to a child's whole future.
Not by treating them.
But by being the very first person who helps their family discover the life-changing power of prevention.
At Joyful Orthodontics, we believe prevention has the power to change lives.
Every day we help children avoid more invasive treatment later in life through early, gentle orthodontic care, and we are on a mission to make preventive orthodontics mainstream in the UK.
We're looking for someone very special to join that mission.
Not just a receptionist.
Not just someone to answer the phone.
We're looking for a Preventive Angel.
Someone whose warmth, confidence and positivity helps families feel safe from their very first interaction with us.
Someone who believes that every conversation has the potential to change a child's future.
This role is for you if...
- You naturally bring warmth and positive energy into a room with a bubbly outgoing nature
- You love helping people and building relationships.
-stay calm under pressure and also put others at ease when they are nervous
- You communicate confidently and enjoy talking to families over the phone.
- You feel comfortable discussing treatment fees and helping families understand the value of investing in their child's health.
- You are organised, proactive and love seeing things through from beginning to end.
- You take responsibility when something goes wrong
- You like being part of a supportive team
- You feel proud when you do something well
- You enjoy learning, self-development and personal growth.
- You would love to grow with a practice for many years rather than simply finding your next job.
Skills can be taught.
Character, passion and values cannot.
More than reception
This role is the beginning of a patient's entire journey.
You will welcome families, answer questions, guide them through their appointments, follow up after consultations and help them feel supported every step of the way.
As Joyful Orthodontics grows, this role is designed to grow too, with the opportunity to develop into a Treatment Coordinator and take on greater responsibility within the practice.
We are looking for someone excited by that journey.
Experience
Previous dental or healthcare experience is essential.
Orthodontic experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.
What matters most is your willingness to learn and your belief in our mission.
A small but important detail
We would love our new Preventive Angel to live within approximately 20 minutes of Didsbury Village.
We believe arriving calm, energised and joyful helps create the best possible experience for both our patients and our team.

Min 34 hours per week with some earlier starts and later finishes to help patients access treatment outside of school and working hours
