About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Vending Machine Engineer to join our growing team. This is a field-based engineering role focused solely on the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of vending machines, mainly in the Kent and Southeast regions.
The successful candidate must have excellent fault-finding skills, a strong technical background and experience working on a range of vending equipment.
Essential Experience
Applicants must have proven experience working with:
- Coffetek vending machines – Vitro Tabletop
- SandenVendo vending machines, Cold and Snack, but not essential as training provided
- Evoca vending machines and Tabletop coffee machines
- Klix and Flavia hot drinks machines- but not essential as training provided
Experience with cashless payment systems, coin mechanisms and telemetry systems would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on vending machines.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and electronic faults.
- Install and commission new vending machines at customer sites.
- Replace filters and complete scheduled servicing to manufacturer standards.
- Order and fit replacement parts as required.
- Process warranty returns (RMAs) and maintain accurate service records.
- Carry out machine refurbishments where required.
- Ensure machines are cleaned and presented to a high standard following repairs or installations.
- Complete service reports and communicate technical issues with the office team.
- Assist with the movement and installation of vending machines.
- Perform regular vehicle checks and ensure the company vehicle is maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition.
- Deliver excellent customer service whilst representing the company professionally.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Vending Machine Engineer is essential.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience working independently and managing your own workload.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Professional, reliable and customer focused.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate will be required at some of our customers sites, Education and High Security, we pay for this if not held.
