SCHOOL VACANCY
Clifton Green Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Level 3 Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team.
We are looking for someone with experience of working within the Early Years Foundation Stage who understands the importance of providing children with a strong start to their education. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting young children's development through high-quality interactions, engaging learning experiences and nurturing relationships.
Our current EYFS priority is to further develop children's speech and language skills, and we are looking for a practitioner who can confidently support this area through purposeful conversations, language-rich environments and effective adult-child interactions.
The successful candidate will:

Have experience of working within an EYFS setting
- Demonstrate a good understanding of child development and the EYFS Framework
- Already have a level 3 qualification or working towards completing it in time for September 2026
- Be skilled in promoting children's speech, language and communication
- Deliver high-quality interactions that extend children's thinking and learning
- Support children to become confident, independent and enthusiastic learners
- Work effectively as part of a dedicated and supportive team
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
