This is a role is for a casual worker agreement on average working 1-2 shifts (8-12 hours) a week which may be over the weekend, during the week daytime and or evening. More shifts will be available during unplanned periods of sickness and/or planned holidays. Shifts are agreed at least one month in advance.

Our services are growing and we now offer; General Health, Women's Health services including ultrasounds scans and blood testing services for both men and women. Fertility and Pregnancy services including ultrasound scans and blood testing services for women.

On a given day you will work in a team of two (plus a Sonographer.) and will undertake the following roles:
1.) Reception
Greet customers and their guests in a friendly and polite manner.
Book customers into the clinic as they arrive using computer system
Take cash and card payments
Answer the telephone and deal with enquires and book customers in for appointments
Ensure all documentation is completed to meet CQC requirements
Ensure all health and safety regulations are met and thorough cleanliness is maintained and infection control is of the highest standard.
2.) Media Co-ordination
Use the pc to manage images from the scan machine and produce customer’s prints
Transfer digital images
Ensure documentation filled out in the scan room has been completed fully to meet the requirements of CQC.
Keep the print area clean and tidy and ready for each customer adhering to infection control procedures.
Discuss with the customer the opportunity to return.
Ensure each customer is fully satisfied with the service before they leave.
3.) Chaperone
Provide the vital link between the Sonographer completing the ultrasound scan and the customer/family
Build a rapport with each and every customer.
Read the room and connect with families
Complete all wellbeing reports in full
Support the Sonographer throughout the scan process allowing them to concentrate on the technical aspects of the scan
Deal with customers with compassion and empathy as the primary objective in sensitive situations
Assist the Sonographer when delivering information for a referral
Ensure all health and safety regulations are met and infection control is of the highest standard.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
