Full-Time Paint Technician (Prep & Paint)
Penrith Body Repairs are looking for a skilled and reliable Paint Technician to join our busy bodyshop team.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, priming, and painting vehicles to a high professional standard. You will play a key role in ensuring all vehicles are finished to excellent quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out full preparation of vehicles, including sanding, masking, and priming
- Mix and apply paint accurately using appropriate techniques
- Perform high-quality refinishing work on a range of vehicles
- Ensure all work is completed in line with industry best practices
- Follow job cards and instructions carefully
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Meet quality and productivity targets
Requirements:
- Proven experience in vehicle preparation and paint spraying
- Ability to prep, prime, and paint vehicles to a high standard
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ATA or NVQ Level 3 qualification is advantageous but not essential
