Job Summary

Duties
- Set up CNC machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and programming parameters based on project specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD files created in SolidWorks or similar software to produce accurate parts.
- Perform routine inspections of machined components using hand tools and measurement instruments to verify dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain proper materials handling practices, including loading raw materials and managing waste or scrap materials efficiently.
- Adjust machine settings as needed during production runs to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Conduct basic math calculations to determine dimensions, tolerances, and material quantities required for each job.
- Support assembly processes when necessary, ensuring parts fit correctly within larger systems or products.
Experience
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in fabrication techniques such as welding and tooling setup.
- Proficiency with CAD software like SolidWorks or similar programs for interpreting technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with milling machines, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and materials handling equipment.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and quality checks.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to machining, fabrication, and warehouse operations.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced production setting while maintaining attention to detail.
