Instant Glass & Glazing Ltd is looking for an experienced Carpenter, Joiner, Window Fitter or Multi-Skilled Tradesperson who wants to develop a career in the glazing industry.
No previous glazing experience is required – we will train you.
Your existing skills in measuring, using tools, working with frames, doors and windows, problem-solving and working on site are highly transferable to glazing.
What you'll learn
- Window and door glazing
- Glass removal and installation
- uPVC and commercial glazing repairs
- Emergency glazing and boarding-up
- Shopfronts and glass partitions
- Safe handling and installation of glass
- Diagnosing and resolving glazing problems
You'll work alongside experienced glaziers, gaining practical experience across residential, commercial and 24/7 emergency work throughout London and the South East.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in carpentry, joinery, window fitting or another skilled trade
- Is confident using hand and power tools
- Has good practical and problem-solving skills
- Takes pride in their workmanship
- Is reliable and professional with customers
- Is willing to learn and develop
- Has a full UK driving licence – essential
