About the Role
We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive early years setting in the Cambridge area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic childcare professional who is passionate about supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing. You'll play an important role in creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.
You'll work closely with the wider nursery team to deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing high-quality care and support to children in your designated nursery room.
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Supporting children's learning, development and individual needs.
- Observing and recording children's progress and maintaining accurate learning records.
- Building positive and trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting children's personal care, health, hygiene and wellbeing.
- Following safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies and procedures.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain excellent standards of care and education.
We're Looking For
✔ Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
✔ Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
✔ Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
✔ A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
✔ A positive, caring and reliable approach
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Salary & Hours
£13.78–£15.20 per hour (depending on experience)
Full-Time – 40 hours per week
All year round | Monday–Friday
