Duties
- Providing customised haircuts, trims, and grooming services in accordance with client preferences
- Offering professional advice on hairstyles, hair care, and grooming products
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work station in compliance with health and safety standards
- Building strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills
- Managing appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times
- Staying updated with the latest trends in hair styling and barbering techniques
- Assisting with stock management and ensuring all tools are properly sanitised after use
Experience
- Proven experience as a barber or hair stylist is preferred but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Demonstrable knowledge of barbering techniques, hair styling, and grooming products
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and offer professional advice
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A friendly demeanour with a passion for delivering high-quality grooming services
