73 Walton is a new premium blow dry destination opening on Walton Street, Chelsea. We are looking for polished, reliable and ambitious hair talent to join our launch team.
The Role
You will support the salon team across the full client journey, from greeting and preparation through to shampooing, blow dry support, station reset and maintaining the overall salon standard.
This role is ideal for someone who is early in their hair career but already understands the pace, presentation and professionalism required on a salon floor.
This is a paid flexible zero-hours role. Shifts will be offered based on salon demand, training schedules and launch-period requirements. There may be opportunities for regular hours and progression as the salon grows.
Responsibilities
- Shampooing clients and ensuring a comfortable basin experience
- Preparing clients for blow dry appointments
- Supporting senior stylists with sectioning, rough drying and product prep
- Assisting with blow dry services where trained and signed off
- Maintaining clean, organised and fully stocked stations
- Resetting chairs, basins, tools, towels and gowns between appointments
- Supporting the front-of-house/client journey where needed
- Following salon hygiene, health & safety and product handling standards
- Helping maintain a polished, calm and premium salon environment
- Participating in training across the 73 Walton service menu and client standards
Requirements
- Previous salon, blow dry bar, hair assistant or hairdressing training experience
- Confident shampooing and working with clients
- Basic knowledge of blow dry preparation, sectioning and salon tools
- NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing completed or in progress preferred
- Excellent personal presentation and professional attitude
- Warm, polite and confident with clients
- Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to learn and take feedback
- Right to work in the UK
- Available for training and launch period

Pay: From £33,000.00 per year
