Job Advert: After School Sports Coach
Location: Harpole Primary School, Northampton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm – 6:00pm (term-time only but opportunity for overtime in holidays if wanted)
Pay: Starting from £12.71 depending on experience
Contract: Part-time - Pro Rata Available
Are you passionate about working with children and making a difference in their day? Legacy Sport is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable after schools sports coach to join our friendly team, supporting our after school provision for children from Reception to Year 6 within Harpole Primary School.
What you’ll do:
- Help create a safe, fun and engaging environment for children after school
- Assist with a variety of activities including games, arts and crafts, outdoor play and quiet time
- Support the preparation of light snacks and refreshments
- Work closely with a supportive team to ensure every child feels happy and included
- Ensure the welfare and safety of all children, following safeguarding procedures
What we’re looking for:
- A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for working with children
- Experience working with children is desirable, but not essential – training will be provided
- A team player who is reliable, punctual and friendly
Requirements:
- A DBS check is required
- Willingness to undergo safeguarding training
- Paediatric First Aid (we can provide the relevant training if necessary)
- Driving Licence and Access to own vehicle
