Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher: Hold QTS as a primary or secondary school teacher.
- Familiarity with 11+ Exams: Understand the 11+ entrance examination process.
- Excellent Subject Knowledge: Proficient in KS1, KS2 maths, English, and 11+ topics such as VR and NVR.
- Strong Communication Skills: Convey complex concepts effectively.
- Flexibility and Reliability: Be organised, punctual, and dedicated.
- Passion for Academic Achievement: Care about helping students excel.
- Enjoy Working with Children: Create a nurturing learning environment.
- Willingness to Learn: Embrace ongoing training for professional development.
- Be able to commit to at least 4 hours on a Saturday and/or Sunday
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the Eleven Plus Entrance Examination curriculum in English, Maths, VR and NVR.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Foster a supportive learning environment that accommodates diverse learning needs.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents to discuss progress and address any concerns.
- Utilise strong tutoring and teaching skills to motivate and inspire students in their academic journey.

We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who can commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week, with flexible availability on Saturdays, Sundays, and/or weekday evenings.
Key Dates:
- Tutor Interviews: Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th, or Wednesday 26th August 2026
- Tutor Induction: Successful applicants can attend an induction session on Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th, or Wednesday 26th August 2026, from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm. The induction date will be confirmed following the interview.
