Love Churros Watford is seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in food production and hospitality, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and managing the overall store performance to create a welcoming environment for our customers. The Store Supervisor will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and team morale.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily store activities, ensuring smooth operation throughout the shift.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, serving, and food safety procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene and quality.
- Lead and motivate team members, providing guidance on food production, customer service, and operational tasks.
- Manage staff schedules, delegate responsibilities, and monitor performance to optimise productivity.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment.
- Assist in training new employees, including barista experience if applicable.
- Maintain stock levels, organise inventory checks, and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Uphold cleanliness standards across all areas of the store including kitchen and service zones.
- Support promotional activities and contribute to creating an engaging shopping experience.
Experience
- Proven management or supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
- Strong background in food production, cooking, serving, or food preparation is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment with culinary expertise preferred.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality management.
- Previous experience supervising staff such as baristas or kitchen personnel is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage operational challenges effectively.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations combined with excellent organisational skills will be beneficial for success in this role.
