Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, construction, and general site upkeep. Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and effectively
- Support construction activities by handling materials, preparing sites, and performing basic building tasks
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with the installation and repair of irrigation systems and other horticultural features
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
Requirements
- Previous experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment such as excavators is advantageous
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems and site maintenance procedures
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, digging, and operating machinery for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Valid personal identification demonstrating eligibility to work in the UK
