HGV Driver Benefits
- Driver is NOT required to assist with any unloading/loading.

HGV Driver Requirements
- Hold a valid commercial Driving License with the Correct Categories C+E
- Have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence
- Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card
- Pass a background check (see below) to the extent it is permitted by the applicable law
- Pass a standard drug and alcohol test (see below) to the extent it is permitted by the applicable law
- Be able to speak & read English satisfactorily
- Have a maximum of 6 penalty points on the Driver’s License (as well as no DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
- Approved drivers will be drivers with BGC results as “Meets Requirements” and drug and alcohol tests with negative results.
HGV Driver Responsibilities
- Use route navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver trailers to fulfilment centres
- Interact with stakeholders in a professional manner
- Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
- Drive in inclement weather, such as light snow Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
Shift Patterns
- 4 and 5-day shifts patterns available
- Average shift length 8 – 12 hours
- Morning / Afternoon / Night shifts available
- Permanent Role – Full time / Part-time
