Are you an experienced Early Years Practitioner ready to step into a Room Leader position?
We're currently recruiting for a fantastic nursery in the Middlesbrough area looking for a passionate, confident and experienced Room Leader to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Years professional who wants to take the next step in their career, lead a team and make a real difference to children's learning, development and wellbeing.
As Room Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring children receive high-quality care, learning and development within a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
You will be responsible for:

Leading and supporting a team of Early Years Practitioners

Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities

Supporting children's individual learning and development

Ensuring strong EYFS practice throughout the room

Maintaining excellent safeguarding and welfare standards

Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues

Completing observations, assessments and planning

Supporting and developing other members of the team

Creating an exciting and inclusive environment where children can thrive
The ideal candidate will have:

Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification

Previous nursery or early years experience
-
Previous Room Leader or senior practitioner experience is desirable

Strong knowledge of the EYFS

Excellent communication and leadership skills

A genuine passion for working with young children

A reliable, proactive and positive approach

A strong understanding of safeguarding and children's wellbeing
£15.00-£16.00 per hour, depending on experience
