Dental Nurse– Private Dental Practice (London, Lewisham Area)
We are a well-established private dental practice in London seeking a qualified and experienced Dental Nurse to join our friendly and professional team. This is a part-time position; however, for the right candidate, we would be happy to consider a full-time role.
About the Role
The successful candidate will support our clinicians in delivering high-quality patient care across a range of treatments. You will be required to work in full compliance with CQC standards and maintain excellent clinical and cross-infection control procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance for general, surgical, and (ideally) orthodontic procedures
- Ensuring full compliance with CQC standards and regulations
- Independently completing and maintaining clinical documentation
- Assisting with audits and regulatory record-keeping
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised clinical environment
- Supporting the team in delivering excellent patient care
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse (GDC registered preferred)
- Strong understanding of CQC standards and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Good written and spoken English (essential)
- Additional languages are highly desirable
- Organised, reliable, flexible, and professional
- Experience in surgical dentistry (orthodontic knowledge is an advantage)
We would also consider a trainee dental nurse who is a fast learner, reliable, flexible, and eager to develop within a supportive environment.
We will prioritise candidates who live locally, ideally within a 3-mile radius of Lewisham. Locum candidates living nearby may also be considered.
Salary
Salary will be dependent on experience.
