Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning, demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of care home environment , including offices, washrooms, and common areas, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard of hygiene
- Be able to complete weekly / monthly order of any cleaning supply
- Support with monthly audits and required documentation
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to management
- Adhere to company policies regarding the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in care homes, nursing homes
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift light loads when necessary
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous

Pay: £12.71-£13.10 per hour
