Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders efficiently, and ensure a positive experience from start to finish
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, adhering to food safety standards at all times
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including basic math calculations for transactions and change
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold a safe environment for both staff and customers
Skills
- Proven barista experience with knowledge of espresso machines, brewing methods, and drink customisation
- Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure hygiene and compliance standards are met
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that delights customers
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory checks
- Effective time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly
- Experience in food preparation and handling light snacks or meals is a plus
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers confidently
