Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team at our bustling restaurant. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during service and food preparation
- Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Provide attentive guest services, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is advantageous; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proven time management skills to ensure timely service delivery
