Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Tyre Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site tyre fitting services, ensuring customer satisfaction through professional and efficient service. This role involves working independently to attend customer locations, diagnosing tyre issues, and performing repairs or replacements as required. The ideal applicant will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the physical capability to handle heavy lifting.
Responsibilities
- Attend customer sites to carry out tyre fitting and repair services efficiently and safely
- Remove and replace tyres using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct tyre inspections to identify damage or wear, advising customers accordingly
- Perform wheel balancing and alignment tasks when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organised work area at each site
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operations
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining procedures clearly and professionally
- Keep accurate records of work carried out for each customer
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to tyre fitting and vehicle maintenance
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers
- Experience with power tools used in tyre fitting processes
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks on tyres and wheels effectively
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual handling of tyres and equipment
- Organised with good time management skills to meet scheduled appointments
- Ability to work independently in various locations under different conditions
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
