Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales/Marketing Assistant to join our vibrant team! This role offers and excelent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and gain experience, working across both our B2B textile manufacturing brand (OmniTex) and our sister companies lifestyle clothing brand, It's a Dogs Life!
You'll need to be an outgoing and confident person, as part of you roll will involve creating content for social media platforms, including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. You will therefore also need to be confident in front of the camera, at times.
Other duties may also include:
- Supporting with wider marketing and lead generation for B2B customers
- Assisting with market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and optimize current strategies
- Supporting with the development of marketing resources and liasing with outside agencies, to ensure agreed resources are created on time
- Managing client databases and update CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to maintain accurate records
- Creating and supporting the creation of content for newsletters, mailshots and other direct marketing.
- Organising meetings, tracking project timelines, and prioritizing tasks effectively using strong time management skills
You don't need lots of experince for this roll, as we see this as an opportunity for you to take control of your development and learn new things, through practical tasks. However, as a basis, you will need to be:
- Fully proficient in English, both written and spoken
- Confident in creating content and posting across multiple social media platforms
- Confident to appear in social media content, as required
- Outgoing, friendly, engaging and approachable as a first point of contact and one of the outwardly seen faces of the company.
- Proficient in key tasks with MS Office application, including email, Word and Excel, as a minimum.
- Able to work both as part of a team and independantly, at times, and self motivated to create the desired results
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks, to strict deadlines
Whilst we are a small team, we work hard and closely together to support each other.
This role will be paid at minimum wage for your age, initially, and is for 20 hours, over a 4 day week (Monday - Thursday). However, there will be opportunities for additional paid hours, supporting with occasional event/shows at weekends.
This is also a role which you have the power to grow, both in hours and salary. Effectively, the more you put in and can support the business to grow, the more opportunity we will be able to provide for and increase in your weekly hours and salary.
