B & T Hicks Transport urgently require a Class 2 HGV Day Driver based out of our Hereford Depot. Immediate start on successful completion of onsite interview and assessment.
Role:
The Driver must be fully compliant and have extensive experience in loading a wide variety of general haulage goods onto rigid taught liner trucks. Duties include multi drop pallet network deliveries throughout Herefordshire and the surrounding regions
Shifts:
- Monday - Friday
- Guideline start time of 6am with an average finish time of 5pm
Rates of Pay:
- £35k salary
- (Optional every other Saturday morning available offering over time pay)
Driver expectation:
- You will be responsible for the accurate, safe, and timely movement of our customers’ products to their delivery destination, in line with all relevant health and safety compliance.
- Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately with attention to detail.
- Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements.
