Duties
- Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
- Optimise food production processes and minimise waste.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Foster a positive team atmosphere through effective communication.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a cafe, restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- A passion for cooking with an understanding of current food trends and customer preferences.
