Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated UPVC Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fabricating UPVC components in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities
- Cut, shape, and assemble UPVC profiles according to technical specifications and drawings
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during fabrication processes
- Operate machinery to ensure precise measurements and quality standards are met
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials within the warehouse setting
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Conduct quality checks on finished products before packaging or dispatch
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of fabrication processes
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, drills, and screwdrivers
- Experience with power tools relevant to UPVC fabrication is desirable
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions accurately
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
