We are a professional building company working in the private sector and run contracts throughout Medway, Kent and Surrey. We are made up of quality and experienced tradesmen and trainees, and we are looking for a semi-skilled labourer who is hardworking, reliable, punctual and has previous experience working within the building industry.
The successful candidate will assist with a wide variety of work across our construction projects, including internal works, refurbishment and general building, working alongside and assisting a range of skilled trades.
Duties will include assisting with all aspects of work within our construction team. The ideal candidate will be willing and capable of assisting in all areas of the business and should have a good practical understanding of general building work. They may be required to assist with works alongside our groundworkers, bricklayers, carpenters, plasterers, decorators and other trades, depending on the requirements of each project.
This is a varied role and would suit someone who already has some practical construction skills and is looking to develop their knowledge and experience across different areas of the building industry. There will be opportunities for on-the-job training, learning new skills and progressing within the company for the right person.
The successful candidate will need to be hands-on, willing to learn and take pride in their work, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Own transport is essential due to the varying locations of our work. Please do not apply if you do not have access to your own reliable transport.
This would be a permanent, full-time position with regular work, and the successful candidate would be working on a self-employed basis.
Rate: £150 per day, depending on experience and suitability for the role.
