Labcorp is seeking a Sample Handling Assistant to join our shipping and logistics team within our Sample Management department in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 5pm
Job responsibilities:

Performing any combination of sample management and/or archive tasks, including labeling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping, and disposal of samples and/or materials

Sample accession core tasks, including box opening, inventory/labeling, receipt/store, and pulls/returns

Using tracking systems as appropriate and communicating effectively with internal and external customers

Supporting process improvement initiatives and working well in a team

Competent with environmental system monitor as appropriate

Maintaining storage units

Maintaining a working knowledge of appropriate regulations and company/department Standard Operating Procedures
Minimum Qualifications:

Relevant national level of education in comparison to High School Diploma or equivalent, GCSE A-level or equivalent
Additional Job Standards:
-
Competent ability to use several software packages i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook

Experience working in a fast pace environment and/ or in a warehouse operative role is advantageous.
