Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team on a one of a kind private aviation catering curated by Two Michelin-Starred Chef, Jordan Bailey. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with our established recipes and quality standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your culinary skills within a dynamic restaurant environment, contributing to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have prior kitchen experience, a passion for food preparation, and a strong commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to specified recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during busy service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and fryers
- Monitor food quality and presentation throughout the cooking process
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold hygiene standards
- Support in stock rotation, inventory management, and restocking supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary principles
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- A genuine passion for food service and delivering high-quality dishes
