Cafe Ambio is a family run business boasting 5 cafes in the Lake District and Lancashire. We use local suppliers, seasonal products and make everything we serve from our kitchens. We are looking to bring in a chef to join or kitchen here at Café Ambio, J36.
As a chef, you will work closely with our head chef in the day to day running of the kitchen, preparing food, serving food, planning menu's and daily specials, keeping on top of all the cleaning, and maintaining our 5 star food hygiene rating. You will be in charge of running the kitchen on the head chefs days off and holidays.
Baking Cakes, Making Pies and Sausage Rolls, Buffet Preparation, Daily Specials are all examples of the work that is required.
At Junction 36, we are the only catering provider onsite, and we cater for Farm Auctions, Events in the J36 Exhibition Hall, Buffets and Events in our own Conference Room.
Minimum 35 hours per week, normally working 8:30 - 16:30 any 5 days from 7.
We are closed on MOST Sundays.
We would also consider a part time position, working a minimum of 24 hours per week.
