We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, food preparation, and team management. Responsibilities
- Support the Restaurant Manager in supervising daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling and performance management.
- Assist in training team members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and service standards.
- Oversee food safety and hygiene practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage customer service interactions, ensuring guests receive high-quality hospitality and service.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely delivery of orders.
- Supervise serving staff during shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional guest experiences.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock control and ordering supplies as needed.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment throughout the restaurant.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Supervising experience within a restaurant setting is essential; team management skills are highly valued.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
- Hands-on experience with cooking, culinary techniques, or barista work is desirable.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous.
