- Salary up to £55,000
- Monday to Thursday: 7.00am - 3.30pm
- Friday: 7.00am - 12.00pm (early finish every week)

The Role
Reporting into the Engineering leadership team, you'll be responsible for the strategic management of all site facilities, utilities and infrastructure, ensuring the manufacturing operation runs safely, efficiently and in full compliance with statutory and defence industry requirements.
You'll develop and deliver a rolling facilities strategy while leading improvement projects, managing contractors and ensuring planned maintenance programmes minimise disruption to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a rolling 3 year facilities strategy aligned to business growth.
- Lead facilities-related CapEx projects from concept through to completion.
- Manage contractors, suppliers and service providers, ensuring quality, safety and value.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE, environmental and statutory regulations.
- Manage contractor control processes including RAMS, Permit to Work and LOTO.
- Maintain facilities, utilities and site infrastructure to maximise operational reliability.
- Support production teams by minimising downtime and improving site performance.
- Drive preventative maintenance programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and optimise CMMS processes and facilities maintenance systems.
- Prepare budgets, RFQs, reports and project updates for senior management.
About You
You'll already have experience managing facilities within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment and enjoy taking ownership of projects and site improvements.
You'll ideally have:
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
- Experience managing facilities within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of LOTO, PUWER and contractor management.
- Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH (or equivalent).
- Experience delivering facilities CapEx projects.
- Knowledge of CMMS and planned maintenance systems.
Desirable
- Multi-skilled engineering or maintenance supervisory background.
- Experience of BMS/BAS or building services.
- Project Management qualification (Prince2 or PMP).
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 50001 energy management.
- Experience using Agility CMMS, CAD or MS Project.
