Osteopath – Long-Term Opportunity
GM Osteopathy | Swanley, Kent – close to Swanley StationStarting early October 2026
GM Osteopathy is looking for a friendly, motivated and confident Osteopath to join the practice on a long-term basis. This is an opportunity to step into an established patient base, develop your own caseload and play an important role in the future growth of an independent practice.
The role initially coincides with my 12-month maternity leave. Starting in early October will allow us to work together, ensuring a smooth handover before I step away from clinical practice. My aim is to find the right person for the longer term, not simply temporary cover.
About GM Osteopathy
GM Osteopathy is an established independent practice based in a private treatment room in Swanley, conveniently located close to Swanley Station.
Our varied patient base includes general musculoskeletal patients, runners and active individuals, as well as women’s health and postnatal patients. Over time, I’d like to expand the services we offer and grow the clinical team, so this role would suit someone excited to contribute to that development.
The Role
You’ll initially work alongside me before taking on much of my existing patient diary. You’ll also be encouraged to develop your own patient base and clinical interests.
The role offers a high level of autonomy. Using Cliniko, you’ll manage your own diary and caseload, including:
- Appointments, invoices and payments
- Clinical notes and patient records
- Rebooking and appropriate patient follow-up
- Routine communication with your patients
Who I’m Looking For
You must be a qualified, General Osteopathic Council-registered Osteopath with appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
A Sports Massage qualification or relevant experience would be highly desirable, although it isn’t essential.
You’ll ideally be:
- Warm, personable and patient-focused
- Confident, organised and reliable
- Comfortable working independently
- Proactive in developing your own patient base
- Interested in sports, rehabilitation and/or running
- Keen to contribute ideas and support the practice’s growth
An interest in women’s health would also be welcome.
What I Can Offer
- An established patient base
- A supported handover from early October
- Flexible working days and hours
- Your own Cliniko practitioner login
- A convenient location close to Swanley Station
- Clinical autonomy and freedom to develop your interests
- Ongoing support from the practice owner
- The opportunity to grow your own caseload
- A genuine long-term role within a growing independent practice
This would suit an Osteopath who values independence and wants to help build something over the longer term, with the support and infrastructure of an established practice.
Interested? Please get in touch with a little about yourself, your clinical experience and what you’re looking for in your next role. CVs are very welcome.
