Duties
- Assist in planning and organizing diverse activities tailored to the interests and needs of participants
- Lead group activities such as games, arts and crafts, music sessions, with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Support participants in engaging with activities, ensuring everyone feels included and valued
- Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and materials to ensure smooth operation of all programs
- Monitor participant safety during activities, adhering to established safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to develop new activity ideas that foster community spirit and enjoyment
- Document participation and gather feedback to improve future programming efforts
Requirements
- Strong enthusiasm for engaging with diverse groups of people in a lively setting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire participants
- Ability to lead activities confidently while maintaining a safe environment
- Creative mindset with the ability to adapt activities based on participant interests and needs
- Previous experience in event planning, recreation, or community programs is a plus but not required
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift light equipment or supplies as needed throughout the shift
