We are seeking a dedicated Fish Fryer to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare fresh fish and other ingredients for frying, ensuring proper portioning and presentation.
- Cook fish to specified recipes, maintaining consistent quality and flavour.
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during preparation and cooking processes.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing utensils, cleaning fryers, and sanitising work surfaces.
- Assist with meal preparation during busy periods, supporting the wider kitchen team as needed.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Stock and organise ingredients and supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to customers when required.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, particularly in frying or seafood dishes.
- Strong cooking skills with a focus on fish and seafood cuisine.
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation.
